Every month we recognize one of our amazing volunteers for going above and beyond… and then we sit them down and ask a few questions. For February, we celebrated Jesselyn Chang, a member of the Content Team.
We sat down with Jesselyn this past week to discuss volunteering, AMA and more.
AMA LA: What’s your role with AMA Los Angeles?
JC: I am a copywriter
AMA LA: What does that involve?
JC: As a copywriter, I am responsible for generating content pieces for the AMA Los Angeles blog and the LinkedIn website.
AMA LA: What is your favorite thing about volunteering for the chapter?
JC: One of my favorite things about volunteering with the chapter is being able to meet new people and network with them. Everyone here is so positive and supportive of one another.
AMA LA: How does your volunteer role reflect what you do in your day job?
JC: I am a sales and marketing specialist at my day job, and creating content such as email newsletters, blog posts and marketing materials, are some of my major tasks.
AMA LA: Where would we find you if you weren’t hard at work right now?
JC: You can find me at the gym or hiking to catch the sunset.
